Website Visitors
Like most website operators, ZeroByteCode collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. ZeroByteCode’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how ZeroByteCode’s visitors use its website. ZeroByteCode also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on our blogs. ZeroByteCode only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to ZeroByteCode’s websites choose to interact with ZeroByteCode in ways that require ZeroByteCode to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that ZeroByteCode gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who comment on our blog to provide a username and email address. Those who wish to receive ZeroByteCode updates via email, we collect their emails. In each case, ZeroByteCode collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with ZeroByteCode. How We Use Your Data
Visitors who decide to register or create an account on our website must fill required information such as username, full name, valid email address, phone number, address, and payment address. Several other information is required when the registered users decide to purchase our products.
We will save the data into our database, ensuring the user can reuse the data to login, purchase products, or navigating throughout our website without having to refill the required information.
Upon purchasing a product, users must use the available payment methods, such as Paypal or Debit/Credit Card. By using our Paypal payment method, users agree to Paypal’s User Agreement.
The data from purchasing product, such as email address and license key, are required to validate the license between our server and user’s website. Thus, users can get full features access and updates from us.

Aggregated Statistics
ZeroByteCode may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, ZeroByteCode may monitor the most popular pages on the ZeroByteCode.com site or use spam screened by the Akismet service to help identify spam. ZeroByteCode may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, ZeroByteCode does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

ZeroByteCode uses cookies to help ZeroByteCode identify and track visitors, their usage of ZeroByteCode website, and their website access preferences. ZeroByteCode visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using ZeroByteCode’s websites, with the drawback that certain features of ZeroByteCode’s websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
Usage Tracking
ZeroByteCode collects certain information through usage tracking. The purpose of usage tracking helps ZeroByteCode to better understand our users and their website needs by looking at a range of variables in their ZeroByteCode plugin, WordPress, and web host. This information allows us to continuously improve our product as well as our Q&A / testing process. The information may include the license key (and type), plugin activation dates, etc. In addition, ZeroByteCode may collect statistics for its Guided Setups that includes whether the setup was started, whether it was completed, and how long it took in order to continue to improve the onboarding experience. We may also collect information of active integrations and plugin settings but sensitive settings such as API keys are automatically excluded from tracking.
Our usage tracking includes collecting information as to the WordPress active theme/plugins, locale, timezone, whether SSL enabled, or if a site is a multisite, and the site URL. In addition, the usage tracking includes determining the PHP and MySQL Versions in order to help us make sure our testing procedures have proper coverage to avoid compatibility issues, and determining the server software, which is used for testing purposes.
Third-Party API Integration
ZeroByteCode’s Third-Party API Integration allows our users to connect their WordPress sites, in which they have installed our plugins or themes, with Third-party apps or services.
Should you elect to use this addon/feature, our Third-Party API Integration allow you connect your site to third-party service or app of choice such as transferring data or use provided services.
ZeroByteCode does not save any integration to our own server or database. All data connection and integration are connected directly between user’s website to the third-party services.

Your Data Protection Rights Under The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Comments and other content submitted to Akismet anti-spam service are saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
